The Cherokee County Domestic Violence Task Force, along with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Cherokee Focus, invite you to celebrate Crime Victims’ Rights Week in Cherokee County, as our community continues the work of championing victims’ rights. Event featuring a tree dedication ceremony and survivor speaker in honor of Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Limited parking is available, car pooling to this event is strongly encouraged.

Victim Impact Panel Luncheon

Historic Courthouse in Downtown Canton
A panel of victims of crime will share their stories so that others can learn from their experiences. Chick-fil-a lunch to be served.

Faith Based Summit
April 15, 2011

Woodstock Community Church
The goal of the training is to educate local faith leaders on their role in domestic violence. The multi-media presentation will include discussion and Q&A. A toolkit and resources for use in your community will be provided to all individuals that R.S.V.P. for the event. Lunch will be provided to the first 100 individuals to R.S.V.P. for this event.
